CAMARILLO, Calif. - Pacific Earth Resources, parent company of Pacific Sod and Pacific Arbor Nurseries, recently announced that Lake Mountain Farms of Sany, Utah, as the exclusive distributor of its Pacific Wildflower Mix, a sod product that features wildflowers grown in sod form.
"Lake Mountain has been our largest customer for contract sales of Pacific Wildflower Mix, so it was natural to enter an agreement to have [them] act as sole distributor of the product in the Western U.S., including Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming," said Tony Prater, marketing director for Pacific Earth Resources. "Because of their position, they can continue to distribute our wildflower sod in those areas where Pacific does not actively market product for logistic reasons."
Pacific Wildflower Mix sod is an array of annual and perennial wildflowers that will flower most of the year with proper irrigation. Many of the flowers are native to the Western U.S. Varieties include Shasta Daisy, Black-Eyed Susan, Bachelor Button, Bird's Eye, Blanketflower, California Poppy, Chinese Houses, Coreopsis, Blue Flax, Farewell-to-Spring, Johnny-Jump-Up, Maiden Pinks, Indian Blanket, Prairie Coneflower and Rockress, as well as several other varieties.
