Labor Law Guide Soon Available

BELLEVILLE, Wisc. - Gempler's, Inc., authorities on agricultural workplace safety and employment law compliance, will soon release a new 100-plus page guide aimed at keeping agricultural and horticultural employers out of trouble with government regulators who enforce key federal labor laws.

Labor Law Compliance: A Working Guide for Ag/Hort Employers will be available on Nov. 1, 2001. The manual is a one-step resource that offers ag/hort employers important information and compliance guidance on many of the key laws and regulations affecting their employees.

Among the topics included in the guide are: child labor law compliance, sex discrimination, sexual and racial harassment, family and medical leave, immigration law compliance, wage-hour law, OSHA compliance, the Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act (MSPA), and pesticide safety/Worker Protection Act compliance.
