L.A. Seeks Arkansas Congressional Seat

 

U.S. Rep. Mike Ross, a Democrat, faces a Republican challenger for the 4th District seat in south Arkansas?EUR??,,????'??+Landscape Architect Joe Ross, 67, of El Dorado, Ark. Joe Ross, no relation to Mike Ross, is deemed a conservative Christian by Arkansas media. His public service is two terms as a member of the El Dorado City Council.

The campaign of Joe Ross will include an issue most Americans can readily get behind?EUR??,,????'??+less taxation. He asserts the combined taxes of local, county, state and federal entities should not go beyond 10 percent of earnings. The incumbent will focus on health care and energy policy during his re-election campaign. The general election is Nov. 7.
