L.A. Honored with "Keeping America Strong" Award

The award's program featured some of Richard Kattman's (right) most recent landscape architecture projects.


Richard Kattman of Kattman Corp., received the “Keeping America Strong” award on “Heartbeat of America,” a 30-minute nationally televised program hosted by William Shatner.

Richard Kattman is a landscape architect, fine artist and photographer from Holliston, Mass. He received his BFA and BLA from the Rhode Island School of Design, graduating with honors. Kattman has practiced landscape architecture for more than 30 years and involved in painting, drawing and photography for 25 years.
?Mr. Ben Hammer, field producer of the show contacted Kattman after attending an event at the Cambridge Center Roof Garden, one of Kattman's notable landscape design projects. Kattman said the show gave him "once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to teach people about how I impact society as an artist and a landscape architect.”
