Kioti Tractor finished the last leg of its fundraiser to support breast cancer awareness and research this month during the CIBC Run for the Cure, raising $25,023 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation in the process. The company, a division of Daedong-USA, Inc., recruited 52 teams and 188 individual participants to help fundraise and gave prizes to two of them. Aldric Robicheau, the top fundraiser with a total $4,609, received a limited edition Pink CS2410 Subcompact Tractor. Robicheau, of Arcadia, Nova Scotia, is the owner of Tri-County Tractor. The second prize, the limited edition Pink MECHRON 2200 Utility Vehicle (UTV), was randomly drawn from all participants and awarded to Jean Gagnon. Gagnon is the owner of Equipements G. Gagnon in St-Thomas Joliette, Quebec. "We are proud of all of our team members for their efforts to support this important charity," said Peter Dong-Kyun Kim, chief executive officer of Daedong-USA, Inc. KIOTI Tractor Division. "We hope the pink tractor and UTV help the public keep breast cancer research top of mind as the Foundation helps find a cure." The CIBC Run for the Cure raised more than $150,000 when combined with U.S. contributions. KIOTI promoted the fundraising efforts during a 40-city tour starting in January. The tour featured the pink tractor and UTV, stopping at key dealerships and events throughout Canada.
