Kincaide Park, Quincy, MA

Landscape Forms and Bishop Land Design
by Staff

Once an underused park in an underserved area, Kincaide Park is now a model park for the City of Quincy and case study in how to improve an area by altering its conditions. The renovation was informed by community engagement. Neighbors wanted a safe park with amenities that appealed to all generations and would encourage activity day and night. Lighting played a role in meeting those goals. Bishop Land Design (BLD) turned to Landscape Forms for assistance with photometrics and fixture selection. Arne multi-fixture area lights allowed BLD to precisely position light. Neighbors now comfortably access all areas of the park day and night, improving safety by increasing use.
