This pirate ship play structure is part of Kidstuff Playsystems' "KidVision" line, which led to their recent induction into the Purdue University Northwest Society of Innovators.

In November 2024, Kidstuff Playsystems was inducted into the Purdue University Northwest Society of Innovators for developing its "KidVision" line of themed playgrounds for preschool children. Among the play systems in that line are a castle, locomotive, train, caboose, pirate ship, Alamo, Pueblo home, woodland scene, farm animals, dino world, and an excavator. Principal designer Ed Rodriguez, along with Kidstuff owners Richard Hagelberg and George McGuan, were honored at an induction luncheon at Purdue University Northwest.
