Kentucky ASLA Chapter Elects New Board Members

Kentucky Elections 2024

The Kentucky ASLA Chapter elected four current board members into new positions and re-elected ten current board members for the 2024-2025 term.

The Kentucky ASLA Chapter recently announced the individuals elected to the 2024-2025 Executive Board.

Board Members in New Positions:
President-Elect Joseph Browning, PLA and co-founder of Contour Collaborative, will take his place as the President.
Matt Hisle, PLA at CARMAN who served as President a few years ago, will begin a new role as Secretary.

The most recent Secretary, Emily Hill, PLA at Gresham Smith, has been chosen as the new President-Elect.
Former At-Large Member Morgan Dunay, landscape designer at Gresham Smith, will take on the Emerging Professionals Chair.

Board Members Retaining Their Positions:
Current VP of Professional Development Josh Despain, PLA and co-founder of Contour Collaborative, will remain in his position.
Current Sponsorship Chair Brian Roach, PLA at Bowman Consulting, will remain in his position.
Current Public Relations Chair Emily Sands, a landscape designer at RossTarrant Architects, will remain in her position.
Current VP of Membership Angela Sanchez, a landscape architecture student at the University of Kentucky, will remain in her position.
Current Treasurer Jordan Sebastian, PLA at Lord Aeck Sargent, will remain in his position.
Current At-Large Members Abdiel Martinez, a landscape designer at CARMAN; Jordan Phemister, PLA at JPLA and lecturer at the University of Kentucky; William Hodges, PLA at Bowman Consulting; Kimberly Chalk, a designer at OHM Advisors; and Allison Hicks, PLA at Mindel Scott will continue in their roles.

The Advocacy Chair remains vacant.
