ExakTime, manufacturer of one of the top construction's time and attendance systems, has introduced TimeSummit 1.4. This is the latest version of its time tracking hub that adds three powerful new tools to its software: employee curtaining, daily overtime tracking by location and employee expense tracking.

The time tracking software collects, stores and reports on all time and attendance data recorded by wireless, mobile and rugged time clocks in the field – including employee hours, worker locations, job sites, cost codes, equipment, budgets, materials, field notes and more. The new employee curtaining feature benefits supervisors that track crews on the mobile time tracking application.

Rather than display the entire TimeSummit database of employees, employee curtaining shows supervisors only the employees that they need to track at their specific job site – saving time and eliminating potential errors.

Daily overtime tracking by location allows an administrator to set different overtime rules at different job sites, ensuring overtime rules are correct at job sites and calculations are correct within the software. With employee expense tracking, supervisors can track custom-set expenses – like tools, supplies, meals and travel – and their costs, giving business owners an even deeper look into their final project costs.

TimeSummit. 1.4 is available for download. Founded in 1999, ExakTime is a leader in wireless, mobile and extreme-rugged time and attendance solutions for construction, landscaping and maintenance contractors.
