Kansas Agricultural Statistics, over the next few weeks, will be contacting horticulture operations such as greenhouses, nurseries, florists, lawn care firms, municipalities, and arborists to provide information that will help measure horticulture’s economic impact. The survey also will go to operations involved in using or maintaining turf grass, who will be asked to report costs of turf grass maintenance.

Survey funding was provided by the 2006 Legislature at the request of the Kansas horticulture industry.
