Kansas City to Host WNLA Show

The National Green Centre show will be held in Kansas City, Mo. In January 2012 at the Overland Park Convention Center.

National Green Centre by the Western Nursery and Landscape Association will be held Jan. 8 - 9, 2012 at the Overland Park Convention Center in Kansas City, Mo.

The event is geared toward breeders and growers, independent garden centers, landscape contractors, landscape designers, landscape architects, research professionals, editors and garden writers, and public gardens.

The exhibit hall opens on Jan. 8 at 8 a.m. with various seminars and education sessions being held that same day. The second day of the show will also feature an array of seminars and exhibit hall hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The show will also feature a fashion show . . . for plants. The National Green Centre is partnering with American Nurseryman to get the trendiest new plants under the lights, on the runway and in front of buyers. According to the WNLA, ''with models, DJ, runway, lights and cameras this is the place for plants to see and be seen!''
