Kachaluba Residence in Moreland Hills, Ohio

Submission by Cloonan Design Services
by Staff

We designed this pool yard and property 25 years ago, and never would I have thought that I would be starting over 25 years later.

The design theme was to enhance the Frank Lloyd Wright influence that already existed when the house was built back in the 90's. we wanted to take it to the next level. Now with the new owners, who have 6 small children, we designed 2 pools and a spa all with safety covers on it and a very cool European stainless-steel slide!

The hardscaping is 6000 sf of White Legacy Limestone on a concrete slab. We also added long linear bench walls with FLW style pots and fire bowls, a fire pit, Extensive landscaping, turf, lighting and irrigation were added.

We also built a 1400sf Lanai and a 2200 sf addition that we call a pool house. It has a full basement which contains all the pool equipment. We also painted the brick house and added white limestone accents on the house to create a seamless flow of architecture!
