Kristean Alcocer

Rodney Huffman


NICOR®, Inc. announced that Rodney Huffman has joined their team as business development manager. Huffman brings over 20 years of business management, sales, and marketing experience from the semiconductor and solar PV industries. He will be developing new business opportunities for the company. NICOR???(R)???AE???? has headquarters in Albuquerque, N.M., and has been supplying quality lighting solutions since the early 1980s. The company is committed to bring LED Lighting to electrical distributors.




Rick Bartel


Atlantic Water Gardens announced that Rick Bartel has joined the team as international sales manager and educator. He holds a master of science degree in wildlife biology, with an emphasis in habitat design management. As a 30 year veteran water feature designer, Bartel has been internationally published more than 350 times for his articles on the subject of quality water feature design and installation.

Jason Mulcahy was recently named turf and ornamental market specialist covering the state of Florida for FMC Professional Solutions. Mulcahy will provide sales and technical support for the turf and ornamental segment in Florida, as well as collaborate with the FMC Professional Solutions pest management team within the territory. Most recently, Mulcahy was a regional sales representative for DuPont Professional Products, servicing New England and New York.




Robert Dobson


The Irrigation Association welcomed Robert Dobson of Middletown Sprinkler Co. in Port Monmouth, N.J., as association president. A leading voice in the irrigation industry for more than 40 years, Dobson has been an association member for more than 25 years and an executive committee member since 2009. His volunteer involvement has included service on the history committee, certification board and IA ambassador program as well as both the contractor and landscape common interest groups.

Rich Collings


Backyard Creations won an Angie's List "Super Service Award" for 2012 in six different categories. Perennials in Carrollton, Texas is a complete decomposed granite pathway renovation where the client used to have a wooden raised deck and some thinning lawn.

"Their wants were to have no grass in the backyard, have a meandering pathway through the garden (safe walking for the elderly) and attract wildlife with a high preference for native plant material and a sustainable landscape," said Backyard Creations owner Rich Collings. This property won the designation: "Certified Backyard Wildlife Habitat" by the Texas Parks and Wildlife. The owners proudly display their plaques on the two gates entering their backyard wildlife paradise. Their property now attracts multiple species of hummingbirds and butterflies as well as many other birds and wildlife.




Chad Hogancamp


T. Christy Enterprises appointed Chad Hogancamp to regional sales manager. In this role, he will oversee Christy's sales efforts in California and Arizona. Hogancamp was previously national sales manager with National Signal, Inc., a manufacturer of traffic signs. From 2001-2006, he was a regional vice president of IPS Weld On. T. Christy Enterprises is one of the industry's leading suppliers of solvent cements, tools, geotextiles and other supplies for professional contractors.

Truck Bodies & Equipment International added Nikki Kyle as marketing manager. TBEI is a Minnesota based corporation that encompasses five leading manufacturers of dump truck bodies, hoists and truck and trailer equipment. Kyle will be based at their corporate offices in Lake Crystal, Minnesota, and will manage marketing for TBEI brands Crysteel, Rugby, DuraClass, and J-Craft. Terry Campbell has been named as its new general manager of Ox Bodies, Inc. where he will have direct responsibility over all operations and sales at its Fayette, Ala., facility. Before joining TBEI, Inc., Campbell oversaw operations as general manager of the Kidron Division for V.T. Hackney, Inc.
