Dr. Julian Raxworthy is a landscape architect from Australia who graduated from the University of Queensland, Australia in 2013 with a focus on the relationship between landscape architecture and gardening. According to his Academia profile, Raxworthy is currently a senior lecturer in the School of Architecture, Planning and Geomatics at the University of Cape Town in South Africa.Dr. Raxworthy's recently published book, Overgrown; Practices between Landscape Architecture and Gardening, calls for landscape architects to "leave the office and return to the garden," and was published by the MIT Press in October 2018.On November 2, 2018, the Cornell landscape architecture YouTube account released a one-hour and sixteen minute video of a lecture given by Dr. Raxworthy regarding his new book and some of its ideas. No word was found on any up-coming lectures.
