Joanne Kostecky Inducted in ANLA's Hall of Fame

Each year the landscape division of the American Nursery & Landscape Association (ANLA) inducts a person into its Hall of Fame. Joanne Kostecky, president of Joanne Kostecky Garden Design Inc. of Allentown, Pa., is the 2005 inductee, receiving the honor during ANLA's management clinic in Louisville, Ky.

Joanne's crews have been installing her design works of stone, concrete walls/pavers and large-scale plantings throughout the greater Lehigh Valley, northern Philadelphia and western New Jersey for 22 years.

Articles on her company's business philosophy and plant use have appeared in top newspapers (Wall Street Journal, New York Times) and in the American Nurseryman and Country Living, among others. Her gardens have appeared in Gardening With Perennials and Perennials for Every Purpose.

Ms. Kostecky is past president of ANLA's landscape division and currently on the ANLA Board of Directors.
