• Not sure if you noticed, but a bill in California was recently abandoned that would have required a second water meter on any project of more than an acre. The water meter would be used to measure and regulate landscape irrigation. While the California Landscape Contractors Association was in favor of the bill as a pre-emptive measure to ward off future water use attacks, state legislators and the building industry put the brakes to the idea.
