The Irrigation Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2018 scholarship program.

The scholarship program was started to promote careers in irrigation and range from $1,000 to $2,500.

Scholarships will be awarded to students based on their letter of intent, financial need, reference letters, resume and list of irrigation courses taken.

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be currently enrolled in a vocational school, community college or university, and be enrolled in an irrigation related class. Students must also be a U.S. citizen, have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and demonstrate financial need.

The deadline for applications is Feb. 15 and winners will be notified by April 1.
