The application deadline for the Irrigation Foundation's 2017 Irrigation E3 program is September 15. Those selected will receive an education and travel award to the 2017 Irrigation Show and Education Conference, taking place Nov. 6-10 in Orlando, Florida.

In order to actively engage the next generation of irrigators, the Irrigation Foundation created this program to provide students and faculty with exposure, experience and education in the irrigation industry.

Instructors are eligible to apply if they are teaching, or will be teaching within the next six months, irrigation-related coursework at a North American community college, university or other institution of higher learning and have not been selected for this award in the past.

Students are eligible if they are interested in an irrigation-related career, are enrolled (undergraduate or graduate) at a North American community college, university or other institution of higher learning, have taken or are currently enrolled in a class with an emphasis in irrigation, and have not been selected for the E3 program in the past.

Winners will be notified by September 22. Those chosen will be able to participate in education classes, technical sessions, irrigation seminars, networking events and the Irrigation Show's exhibit hall.
