Ironsmith provides comprehensive information on its green architectural iron and metal products. The cast products are made from 100 percent post consumer recycled metals mostly from scrap vehicle parts and are recyclable. Steel products are produced from standard structural steel shapes from leading steel producers which typically use 75 percent recycled metal.

Credits can be obtained for building and materials reuse, as all Ironsmith products are reusable or recyclable. For recycled content, the company's aluminum and iron castings are made from 100 percent recycled post consumer materials.

Bronze/brass castings are 75 percent recycled content. Fabricated steel frames are 75 percent recycled and the company's guard and paver grates are made with 75 percent recycled materials produced from electric air furnaces.
