With cities looking to create an identity, Philips Lumec has launched a modern outdoor luminaire line (?EUR??,,????'??SoleCity?EUR??,,????'???) that couples good looks and styling with the performance and energy efficiency of the company?EUR??,,????'???s LUXEON LED technology. In addition, the company has collaborated with Maglin Site Furniture to create complementary sustainable urban furniture that offers cities a complete, integrated urban look and feel.
?EUR??,,????'??SoleCity?EUR??,,????'??? is a high performance alternative to high intensity discharge (HID) lighting that features the sleekness of LEDs, color quality and light uniformity. This system allows different LED configurations to meet city light output and application requirements, while allowing the lighting system to be expanded or modified for subsequent lighting needs.
The lighting company worked with landscape architects and lighting designers on the luminaire design. The brackets and structures are sleek, with continuous lines and seamless joints that are aesthetically pleasing.
?EUR??,,????'??SoleCity?EUR??,,????'??? has eight LED outdoor lighting products in three categories: street and area lighting, architectural lighting (floodlighting, wallwash, canopy) and functional/ambience lighting (light columns, bollards).
