Help could be on the way in the construction industry with some recent Congressional action. Infrastructure investments helped boost the stock market.

Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 8,375.45 on January 28, its highest mark in over two weeks. DJIA opened up the year on Jan. 2 with a close of 9,034.69. In the previous 12 months the high mark was 13,136.69 on May 19, 2008 with the low mark at 7,449.38 on Nov. 21.

Landscape Communications Stock Index had its high water mark in 2009 on Jan. 6 with a close of 1,201.61. LCSI hit its lowest point two weeks later with a close of 1,002.72. On Jan. 28 LCSI gained 38.3 points to close at 1,052.03, its biggest one-day gain since it closed with a bump of 48.7 points on Jan. 12.
