Improving Light Quality with LED Lamps

Vista Professional Outdoor Lighting launched its 5000 Series Up & Accent Fixtures. It combines the energy savings of LED with the flexibility and performance of MR-16 LED lamps.

Vista Professional Outdoor Lighting's 5000 Series Up & Accent Fixtures are some of the first fixtures in the landscape lighting market to be specifically designed for the emerging LED MR-16 lamp. From its inception, the designed focused on maximum thermal dissipation and improving the quality of light from the installed lamp. Its unique breather valve at the knuckle base improves thermal dissipation while restricting and moisture from entering the body of the fixture.

Its small form factor allows the landscape contractor to place and hide the fixture in areas of their design that they usually had to use fixtures almost twice the 5000 Series' size. Providing up to an 80 percent energy savings over standard halogen lamps, the high-performance MR-16 LED lamps maximize energy savings and minimize maintenance. Their lasting performance is assured through a patent-pending silicone diaphragm gasket that enables them to breathe during thermal cycling, which prevents moisture from being drawn into the lamp and socket.

The Series' compact design enhances aesthetics and allows for maximum light output that can be conveniently concealed throughout the landscape, even within tree branches. Additionally, because each 5000 Series fixture is shipped with a factory-installed 4.5- or 5.5-watt LED lamp, no assembly is required, which results in optimum jobsite convenience.
