Course Description:
Learn to reduce costs, while improving the quality of irrigated areas. In this course attendees will learn how to reduce water use up to 50 percent, reduce fertilizer and chemicals up to 60 percent as well as reduce labor and energy, while improving landscape quality. A Return on Investment (ROI) savings worksheet for sustainable landscapes that will project the savings for one, two and five years will also be presented.

Biography:
Michael Chaplinsky is the founder and president of Turf Feeding Systems, Inc., a Texas based company that manufactures fertigation systems for irrigation worldwide. He has worked for over twenty-eight years with golf course construction and maintenance of all types around the world. His extensive experience with landscape maintenance and water efficiency has produced a knowledge and passion for sustainable landscapes, sports fields and golf, realizing an end result of strong economic value.

Mr. Chaplinsky speaks at conferences worldwide about the values of sustainability through plant and soil health.
