The City of Austin Resource Management Department is pleased to announce the winners of the 1986 Xeriscape Landscape Contest. The award winning landscapes are:

Xeriscape is energy and water conservation through creative landscaping. It emphasizes seven principles which include appropriate design, good maintenance, and native and low water-use plants.
