IECA 2014 Webinar Series





The IECA, a non-profit member organization for erosion and sediment control professionals, has announced their 2014 webinar series.

IECA Members can take up to six complimentary vendor webinars throughout 2014. The calendar currently has six complimentary Vendor Webinars sponsored by IECA partners, which amounts to six PDH credits (one per vendor webinar). Additionally, Professional Plus Members will receive two IECA webinars, which cover a variety of hot topics.

Hydraulics for Those Who Skipped It in College Part One & Part Two

Learning Objectives: Attendees will learn the basic terms of hydraulics and their physical meanings, how to use these concepts for erosion control and design, and understand the basic physical processes of water flow.

Specifying Erosion and Sediment Control Practices

Learning Objectives: Attendees will come to understand the relationship between all contract documents and how specifications fit in; will look at some detailed specifications for erosion and sediment control practices, including from a recent project to see how specs can be put together; and consider how standard (or guide) specs are created for E&SC practices and what they might look like.

RAPPS (E&SC) for Oil and Gas Operations

Learning Objectives: Attendees will learn to introduce and emphasize reasonable and prudent E&SC practices commonly used in exploration and production operations; to focus attention on operational, supplemental, and specialty RAPPS; and determine the process for which RAPPS are needed during construction and operation for drill pads, access roads, and other construction activities.

Infiltration Basins - Does your design hold water? Part One & Part Two
