Nowadays, it can be difficult to learn in a classroom setting because people are often mobile. The Irrigation Association's online learning center, "Learning on Demand," allows employees to learn while on the go. The courses give 90 days of unlimited access to the following: online study (about 1 - 4 hours of classroom time), the manual and/or workbook, and supplemental resources like formulas and glossaries. There are three Learning on Demand programs. One program offers hands-on, interactive online classes. Each online class includes summaries that review the lessons, sample calculations to guide through complex formulas, practice problems, and a final assessment. For more information on the online courses available, visit https://tinyurl.com/yaajsdp2.The Irrigation Training and Research Center (ITRC) program is a series of online classes. For a complete list of those courses, visit https://tinyurl.com/y8fbaws3.Learning on Demand also offers a series of irrigation seminars in two tracks, agriculture interests and landscape interests. Students will learn irrigation industry best practices and how to efficiently practice irrigation and water management. Visit https://tinyurl.com/ybh6bqt7 to view the seminars offered.
