The IALD Education Trust's vision is to create a better world through leadership and excellence in lighting design; to cultivate the universal acknowledgement and appreciation of the Power of Light in human life.

The IALD Education Trust has announced the student recipients of their 2021 academic scholarships. The Trust is a not-for-profit charitable educational organization through the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) that provides support to architectural lighting design educators and students. Their mission is to grow the available pool of entry level lighting designers by fostering connections between pre-practitioners of the lighting design profession. The Trust states three students, selected from 25 applicants, stood out as leaders and innovators and will each receive scholarships between $2,500 and $4,500 to help fund their 2021 education.
