The IA, an organization for irrigation companies and professionals, has announced their recent relocation from Falls Church, Va. to Fairfax, Va.

The Irrigation Association has announced their recent relocation from Falls Church, Va., where they held business since 1999. At that time the association had eight staff members and a budget of just under $1.4 million.

Today, the IA has 15 full-time and six part-time employees, and an annual budget of $3.5 million. The move will allow IA to better serve its members, host classes and meetings on-site, and accommodate future growth.

The new address is: 8280 Willow Oaks Corporate Dr., Suite 400, Fairfax, VA 22031. All IA phone and fax numbers will stay the same.

Sogaard said, "We will also increase our focus on enhancing the Market Statistics program so that we can better understand today's market trends and opportunities, as this is of paramount importance to our members. Amidst regulatory, technology and market challenges, there are plenty of opportunities to grow and OPEAA's goal is to help facilitate growth for all of its members."
