IA member Brian Vinchesi Irrigation Partner of the Year

Firmly committed to the irrigation industry, Brian Vinchesi spends much of his time communicating the need for the irrigation industry to use water more efficiently. The owner of Irrigation Consulting Inc., in Pepperell, Massachusetts.

 

IA member Brian Vinchesi was recently named the WaterSense Irrigation Partner of the Year by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The award recognizes overall excellence in water efficiency and efforts that increase WaterSense awareness. Vinchesi was honored during a banquet held in conjunction with the WaterSmart Innovations Conference and Exposition.

Vinchesi, president of Irrigation Consulting, Inc. (Pepperell, Mass.), is the current chair of the IA Smart Water Applications Technologies Executive Task Team. In coordination with EPA, the SWAT task team develops testing protocols to measure the performance of weather-based irrigation controllers and soil moisture sensors, which continue to be a crucial part of WaterSense product specifications.

Vinchesi is also the current chair of the IA Education Foundation. He speaks at numerous conferences and regularly highlights the importance of WaterSense to students, academia and industry professionals alike.
