IA Contractor Common Interest Group Unveils Ambassador Plan

 

The Irrigation Association Contractor Common Interest Group is moving ahead with a plan to send IA ambassadors to regional and local events. Tim Malooly, chair of the contractor group, said the plan is designed to get IA representatives to events like trade shows and legislative hearings so they can communicate IA ideas and solutions to members and related organizations. Results will be shared with various IA committees.

The program dovetails nicely with one of the main objectives outlined in incoming IA President Ken Mills?EUR??,,????'??? speech. Mills called for increased contractor participation and membership. The contractor group believes the outreach will increase contractor involvement. The ambassadors will work closely with IA staff, and the program will be reviewed by the Board of Directors in the summer.
