Tiglio served in the U.S. Army and later became a pioneer in the landscape irrigation industry in the early 1950s. He made a name for himself as a respected irrigation contractor who specialized in large commercial projects and golf course construction throughout the Southwest and Hawaii.

In 1975, Tiglio moved away from contracting and into the wholesale distribution of irrigation and landscape supplies with the establishment of Hydro-Scape Products, Inc. His original concept was an innovative approach of providing full-service and supply facilities for irrigation and landscape contractors under one roof.

Today Hydro-Scape Products has 19 locations in Southern California and Hawaii.
