SAN MARCOS, Calif.--Hunter Industries has expanded the reach of what is arguably the irrigation industry's most comprehensive Web site with the rollout of the company's new Spanish-language Web site. The new online offering features all the same content of the company's English-language site, making it easier for the Spanish-speaking audience to access the growing amount of information being made available to customers.
Hunter's Spanish Web site is part of an ongoing restructuring and redesigning of the company's online content. As is the case with the English-language site, there are new features that make finding information a more effortless task. Most notably, site content has been customized to address the particular needs of installers, homeowners and designers. Plus, it is now possible to ?EUR??,,????'??search?EUR??,,????'?? from any page on the site.
In addition, navigation within the site has never been simpler. Each page includes menus to ensure the user is never more than a click away from the key categories of the site (no need to hit the ?EUR??,,????'??back?EUR??,,????'?? button to get off a page), as well as links to other relative information. And with location within in the site clearly posted at the top of the page, one will never be lost in cybersapce.
On the site's home page, simply click on a choice of ?EUR??,,????'??installers,?EUR??,,????'?? ?EUR??,,????'??designers,?EUR??,,????'?? or ?EUR??,,????'??homeowners?EUR??,,????'?? and be directed to one of three different interest areas within the site. Each area has been built specifically for that particular audience.
For example, in the Installers section there is targeted content on products, tech bulletins and an irrigation business library. There are articles and information to build and strengthen all aspects of a business, such as marketing, sales, personnel, and customer service. Resources to train employees on topics from irrigation basics to the latest innovations are also available. And, it is possible to download product brochures or order printed sales materials or promotional items on line.
The Designer section includes information like typical sports field plans, a precipitation rate calculator, and information on specifying reclaimed water products. There are also links to project profiles and business articles directly related to the design audience.
The Homeowner section is a valuable tool that can be shared with current and prospective customers alike. Introduce customers to the Hunter Web site and show them how simple it is to find information of interest to them, such as how an automatic irrigation system works, or how to adjust and program their irrigation system.
In addition to audience-specific information, each section provides links to individual Hunter products, frequently asked questions, and technical information concerning installation and adjustment.
