House Approves Water Recycling Funds

 

Southern California?EUR??,,????'???s need for reliable water supplies continues to increase in response to an exploding population and ever expanding urban development.

The U.S. House of Representatives recently approved funding for water recycling program in Southern California?EUR??,,????'???s inland empire. Now before the Senate, SB746 would provide $30 million for two projects that would generate approximately 100,000 acre-feet of recycled water annually. Both the State and Federal governments have begun to address the impending water shortage faced by the western states.
