NEW YORK, NY - Internationale Pflanzenmesse (IPM) 2001 attracted 1,300 exhibitors from 34 countries, including Germany, Holland, Italy, Spain, and the United States. As one of the world's leading trade show for plants, greenhouse machinery and equipment, florist supplies and accessories, the event contained approximately 1,300 international exhibitors and nearly 60,000 trade buyers. Some of the highlights of the show included Spanish students demonstrating floral designs from their country, florist trends of 2001 presented by the Association of German Florists, a Flower Arrangement competition, and the Shop & Profit exhibition, which showcased sales promotion ideas and product presentations.
