You've tried numerous products and processes to ensure that your customers' plants flourish but have you ever showered them (the plants, not your customers) with negative ions. Doing so can slightly charge the plants, which leads to a boost in photosynthesis and enhanced absorption of the positively charged nutrients in the soil. This is the concept behind a new product from iGreen LLC, a manufacturer of green technologies for the gardening market. The product, iGrow, is a small pot-shaped device that is hung 9 to 12 inches above plants. At that height, the range of its effects is three feet in diameter. The patent-pending technology built into the device generates negative ions that produce a slight negative charge in the plants. According to the manufacturer, the benefits include increased growth and vitality, resistance to disease and insects, and, due to it being solar-powered, less harmful effects to the environment.
