Hendrick Architectural Products has introduced its new Profile Bar anti-slip entrance grating, which offers nearly double the minimum coefficient of friction for walking surfaces as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act and by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration. For the patent-pending entrance grating, the company has SlipNOT® stainless metallic coating applied directly to the surface of Profile Bar wire or to alternating strips of stainless steel inserted between the wire. "The result is a refined appearance and a cleaner, safer environment for foot traffic," said John Brandt, vice president of sales. By helping to control chemical and dirt pollutants, the anti-slip entrance grating keeps lobbies and interiors cleaner. Other attributes include corrosion resistance, design flexibility, ability to curve the wires, and precise alignment with wires and supports.
