Kawasaki Engines and Power Products has announced a voluntary safety recall to update two of its hedge trimmer models?EUR??,,????'??+KHT600D and KHT750D. On some units, springs between the gear case and handle/frame could separate from their receptacle in the frame during heavy operation, causing excessive stress on the blades. Continued use could cause the blades to swing free of the frame, causing injury. The actual repair is free of charge and should take approximately 15 minutes.
