HBL Merges with DLK Civic Design

Hayden Bulin Larson, Design Group Ltd., landscape architects, has merged with the DLK Civic Design, an interdisciplinary design practice. Both Chicago firms are prominent women business enterprises.

HBL was founded in 1997 by Jennifer Bulin Larson and Richard Hayden. In 2003, HBL completed the formulation and development of the Streetscape Guidelines for Chicago's Department of Transportation.

Larson will be a director for DLK, and Hayden a director of landscape architecture and planning.

DLK Civic Design, founded in 1989, is best known for its architecture and landscape architecture for the Congress Plaza historic restoration, the Roosevelt Rd. viaduct and the new Town of Ft. Sheridan commuter stations, among others.
