Michigan H.B. 4879 - would modify the regulation of Landscape Architects - was introduced on Sept. 11. The bill was read the first time and referred to the Committee on Economic Competitiveness. It essentially proposes changes how Landscape Architects are regulated through start dates for board members appointed, states that a license lapses the day after its expiration, allows for late renewal within 60 days after expiration. ASLA Michigan hasn't commented on the bill.
