Guthrie Green, a new 2.7-acre urban garden and performance venue in Tulsa has received this year's Henry Bellmon Award for Sustainability, presented by Sustainable Tulsa and the Rotary Club of Southside Tulsa.

The George Kaiser Family Foundation and the city of Tulsa spearheaded the $8 million park project, part of a $113.5 million public-private investment for downtown districts. Sustainable elements include geothermal wells, gardens with native plants and trees, bioretention swales, solar panels on the 11,200-square-foot pavilion and LED lighting. The project garnered a $2.5 million ARRA Energy Demand Reduction Grant, and a $125,000 Brownfield Development Grant.

Guthrie Green is named in honor of Oklahoma native son Woody Guthrie (1912–1967), singer, songwriter and activist.
