Two of the two leading voices in the green movement have joined forces. GSky Plant Systems and Natural Resources Defense Council have created a Living Green Wall at NRDC’s new office space in Washington, D.C.
Developed in response to the increasing demand for green walls in offices, Versa Wall System is a customizable, low maintenance, green wall system ideal for those who want versatile plant designs in an indoor office environment. The self-watering and unique support system allows for changing plant and flower designs to reflect the changing season, holiday or special event. These walls are growing in popularity in, hotels, commercial buildings and private residences across the country.
“It’s an honor for GSky to work with NRDC,” said Chad Sichello, President of GSky Plant Systems. “We’re proud to be associated with such an environmentally aware organization. It’s a beautiful design and a great way for usto show off our new Versa Wall System.”
“A green wall gives our employees a connection to the outdoors, improves indoor air quality and demonstrates our commitment to protecting the environment,” said Leslie Edmond, NRDC office administrator. “This is the first time NRDC has added a Green Wall to one of its offices. It was a complete experiment for us and we have been thrilled the results.”
