The ???Greening the World???~s Capital Cities???? event is September 14-18 in Washington, D.C.

The National Capital Planning Commission is inviting planning and policy professionals worldwide to attend Capitals Alliance 2008????Greening the World???~s Capital Cities. The event is September 14-18 in Washington, D.C. and will feature some of the most influential public policy leaders, visionary designers and architects devoted to developing green solutions. Topics include building green cities, how national capitals can take the lead in creating an eco-friendly world and how to attain long-term sustainable practices.

Capitals Alliance is an international forum for senior planning and policy officials from around the globe. The organization was launched in 2001 by the capital cities of Brasilia, Canberra, Ottawa, and Washington. For more information, email CapitalsAlliance@ncpc.gov.
