Bonuses are provided for using rain water harvesting and choosing low-water use plants. Larger trees, tree preservation, green roofs and green walls are encouraged by this mandate. A worksheet assists in calculating the landscaping “score” and allows the landscape architect to try different combinations to meet the requirements.
