The City Parks Alliance is pleased to announce our Call for Speaker Proposals for Greater & Greener 2024, scheduled for June 21-15, 2024 in Seattle, WA.

Greater & Greener is the leading international conference for urban park leaders, city planning and design professionals, public officials, advocates, funders, and innovators. Greater & Greener explores the role of parks and recreation in addressing some of the biggest challenges facing 21st-century cities. The highly curated sessions, workshops, and tours facilitate an honest dialogue around solutions, cross-sector and peer-to-peer networking, and tools for building successful park partnerships.

Four Conference Tracks & Cross-Cutting Themes
At the conference, we are interested in framing, and setting the table for, conversations between speakers and participants around the complex challenges we all face, and how we are working in partnership to create more equitable, vibrant, resilient, and inclusive communities.

 

The Greater & Greener 2024 conference program tracks are:
• Parks and a Changing Climate
• Equitable and Sustainable Park Funding
• Inclusive Parks and Public Spaces
• Parks, Recreation, Health, and Wellbeing
We will also prioritize proposals that address any of the following five themes as relevant to each track: Resilience, Data & Technology, Design Solutions, Community Engagement, and structural changes parks & recreation agencies and their partners have undergone in response to the pandemic and racial justice awakening since 2020.

Speaker Proposals Due July 14, 2023
We invite you to share your parks story with peers from around the nation and around the world at Greater & Greener 2024 in Seattle and to help us spread the word about this opportunity to present.
