Greenscape Inc. of Holly Springs, N.C., was recently presented a 2014 Community Stewardship Award,
which is presented by PLANET to landscape businesses and organizations that make a significant commitment to their communities.

As this year's large category winner of the award, and a supporter of Come Alive Outside, a movement that encourages land care professionals to design, build and maintain spaces that bring people back outdoors, Greenscape demonstrates the positive impacts that landscape companies provide to their communities.

Greenscape's "Green Team" consists of professional landscape architects, designers and horticulturists who work in residential and commercial landscape design/build, landscape management, and landscape specialty services including irrigation and landscape lighting.

"I would like to congratulate the Green Team members who have committed their time and expertise to the various service projects we have done throughout the area over the past several years," says Daniel Currin, president of Greenscape.

The entities that benefited from the team's time and talents this year includes Marbles Kids Museum, Urban Ministries, and the Boys and Girls Clubs serving Wake County.

The award will be presented on July 28, 2014 at the Renewal & Remembrance / Legislative Day on the Hill banquet dinner in Arlington, Virginia.
