GIE and OPEI Enter Into Trade Show Alliance

 

Attendees at the 2005 Green Industry Expo (GIE) show in Orlando, Fla. watch equipment demonstrations. The Professional Grounds Management Society, Professional Landcare Network and the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute recently announced that they are combining their shows, the GIE and OPEI Expo in 2007.

The Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS), the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET), and the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute (OPEI) have announced that they are combining their trade shows, the Green Industry Expo (GIE) and the OPEI Expo in 2007.

The first combined Expo will be held in Louisville, Ky. and will continue to be held there annually. Shaner says that PGMS will continue to offer education programs to grounds management professionals throughout the country via their regional grounds seminars and site visitations. The inaugural seminar was held in Tempe, Ariz. in March and the next program is scheduled to take place on the campus of the University of Delaware in Newark, Del. August 10-11.
