Florida ASLA 2006 Designs Awards

The design for the Munroe Regional Medical Center features a historical sculpture with a time capsule, an employee recognition walk with engraved brick pavers, a cascading waterfall, a benefactor recognition walking path and a large figurative bronze sculpture. Between each component are pedestrian connectors.

This year?EUR??,,????'???s top design honor in the Florida ASLA Chapter, the Frederic B. Stresau Award, went to David Conner & Associates of Tampa for the Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala, Fla. David Conner, ASLA, was the project principal.

The Environmental Sustainability Honor Award went to David Johnston Associates for Joan Durante Community Park.

Awards of Excellence, Honor and Merit were also presented.
