Five Design Teams Vie for Baltimore Design

 

Rash Field?EUR??,,????'???s Memorial Garden along Baltimore?EUR??,,????'???s Inner Harbor is a tribute to the 1986 sinking of the schooner ?EUR??,,????'??Pride of Baltimore?EUR??,,????'?? in the Caribbean. The captain and three crew members perished, but eight others were rescued.

From a group of 14 design teams, Baltimore, Md. officials have selected five design team finalists to compete for the redevelopment of the 9.3-acre Joseph Rash Memorial Park on the south side of Inner Harbor. The site?EUR??,,????'???s underground garage, which will be the base of Rash Field, will alone cost $25 million.

City fathers expect the work completed by spring 2009.
