The Terraces at Copley Point, San Diego
Located atop San Clemente Canyon, this LEED Silver corporate office development (Sudberry Properties) consists of two 6-story office buildings and a multistory parking garage. The 55,000 sq. ft. central pedestrian plaza offers stone water features, seating, dining opportunities and plenty of outdoor space for functions. Native characteristics of the Southern California landscape include rolling grass knolls accented with coast live oaks and California sycamores. Outdoor amenities include a basketball court, putting green and exercise path.

Boardwalk Apartments, Huntington Beach, Calif.
Urban Arena, with TCA Architects and Sares-Regis Group, took a dilapidated commercial site of surface parking lots and transformed it into a mixed-use, beach-style community with street-level retail space and resident apartments. The development provides a half-acre of publically-accessible park and links to the pedestrian and bicycle network of Huntington Beach. Outdoor amenities include sand volleyball, paddle tennis courts, tot-lot with climbing walls, fitness stations and plenty of space for relaxation. The community reflects a “coastal contemporary” style with abstract shade sails, meandering boardwalk and colorful crushed blue glass paving.

The Village at San Antonio Center, Mountain View, Calif.
The Village at San Antonio Center is a 16.3-acre mixed-use infill project by Merlone Geier Partners. The vision for The Village will be to revitalize an aging retail center and create a shopping experience unique to the community. This will include a combination of fine architecture and beautifully landscaped public plazas for the pedestrian-oriented stores, restaurants, boutiques, offices and residential housing.

Pointe 91, Quang Nam, Vietnam
Site planners, architects, and landscape architects at Urban Arena partnered with Philand Corp. to design this resort community located along the tropical coastline of Vietnam. This community used architectural and planning details designed to capture the rich history and lifestyle of the Vietnamese culture. This created business opportunities for grocers, gourmet restaurants and retail shops, while embracing the sweeping white sand beaches and spectacular ocean views.
