Lakeview Business Center, Phase I, Spectrum 3, Irvine, Calif.
This 2-phase 30-acre business park in Irvine won a Grand Gold Nugget Award and a NAIOP National Honor Award. The vehicular drive isle that links the project entrances, central auto courts and pedestrian plazas, forms a strong axial design. Geological formations were duplicated to form the lakes. A formal water element is centered within an amphitheater, forming the terminus of major pedestrian walkways. RPA scope of work addressed all pedestrian and vehicular accent paving, plaza and site lighting coordination, site furnishings, design of lakes and water elements, and coordination of grading and drainage with the consultant team.
